Vivienne Westwood has always said it. Punk is alive and thriving.

Punk shouldn’t be confined to the scenes of the 70s and 80s– it’s for the here and now. As fishnet, pins, rips and dark hues monopolize top brand fashion shows like Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Versace, punk is emerging as the trend to be a part of. Supreme Jackets adorning slogans glorifying that ‘Anarchy is the Key’ speaks to the voice of Punk in the present. After all, when was conformity ever cool?

We thought it was time for Duke to diverge from the mainstream, trade our Duke blue for black, and cause some chaos. So we laced up our Doc’s, smudged our eyeliner, and headed to the nearest cemetery to show the establishment where they can shove it. As Billie Joe Armstrong said, “Punk is not just the sound, the music. Punk is a lifestyle.”
